Last November 14, 2024, EcoOil held its second year of Plant A Tree Day activity in Brgy. Virbira, Carasi, Ilocos Norte. Together with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), EcoOil is committed to implementing a yearly tree-planting activity in the mini forest of Carasi, Ilocos Norte.

Forty (40) volunteers from EcoOil and DENR joined the EcoOil Plant A Tree Day 2024 activity. The activity began with a demonstration of proper planting techniques. Everyone felt excited and fulfilled to take part in protecting our environment. After that, the volunteers successfully planted 96 seedlings, consisting of Baguilumbang, Kasoy, and Bani seedlings, in the mini forest.

It was indeed an unforgettable tree-planting experience for everyone. Fighting climate change is our driving force to plant more trees for our environment.
